Terms of use
The terms you agree to when you use ReadyBuy and buy a report.
1. Who we are
ReadyBuy is run by Silent Foundry Pty Ltd, Brisbane, Queensland (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to the ReadyBuy website, web app and mobile app (together, “ReadyBuy”) and to every report you buy.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or buy a report.
- Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Reports
- A report covers one property address and is for your own personal use while you consider buying that property.
- Reports are built from third-party and public data at the time you run them (see our disclaimer). Data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and a report reflects the data available on the day it was made.
- The offer window, the Bottom Line and other scores are estimates worked out by our methods. They are not a valuation, an appraisal or a prediction of a sale price.
4. Price and payment
- Prices are shown in Australian dollars before you pay. A report is a one-off purchase; there is no subscription.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider (or by Apple, if you buy in the iOS app). We do not see or store your full card details.
5. Refunds and your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a report fails to generate, or has a major problem, contact us and we will re-run it or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. What you may and may not do
- You may save, print and share your own report with people helping you buy, such as your partner, broker, conveyancer or solicitor.
- You must not resell reports, publish them, use them to build a database or competing product, or scrape, copy or reverse-engineer ReadyBuy.
- You must not misuse ReadyBuy, interfere with its security, or use it unlawfully.
7. Our content
ReadyBuy, its design, methods, text and software belong to us or our licensors. Data in reports remains the property of the providers who supply it and is licensed to us; you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use your report as set out above.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make using a report, including the price you offer or pay for a property, and our total liability to you for any report is limited to re-supplying it or refunding what you paid for it. This does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Suspension and changes
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. We may update ReadyBuy and these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply to reports bought after that date.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
